Kathleen was born and raised here at The Dry Arch.  Growing up on a cattle and sheep farm, she began her enthusiastic search for knowledge in the culinary arts right here, where farm to table wasn't just a cliche.  Leaving for America when she was 21, she spent more than half her life there in various restaurants in management and in the kitchen as a chef.  This experience led her to open her own personal chef business called Katt In The Kitchen where she quickly made a name for herself in North Carolina. Among those calling on her expertise were well-traveled successful business owners, people with restricted diets, and those whose health depended on her quality cooking and abilities to make a restricted diet tasty again!

Chad was born and raised in North Carolina.  In his years there, he traveled to nearly all 100 counties looking for the adventure that was in his backyard, so to speak. While flourishing as a self employed Personal Trainer and Mobility Specialist with 2 companies, AND coaching a youth travel baseball team, he cycled across the state several times. With his wife Kathleen, and their son, they cycled, hiked, and sometimes paddled through the state looking for what was in North Carolina's past, and what lie ahead.  From the mountains to the Outer Banks, Chad not only helped those with mobility issues and their daily activities, he quenched his thirst for outdoor activity!
